Getting Started...

Thanks to the handy guide by Martin Brochhaus, I now have a Pelican blog sitting on Github pages. So, thanks to both Martin for the guidance and Github for the hosting.
I'm hoping to use this blog to post snippets of Python and Javascript code as I go along, with a heavy emphasis on data analysis using the brilliant Pandas library and data visualization using D3.
So, here goes!
